As an editor for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Science To Achieve Results (STAR) Grants Program, responsible for the editing of annual and final STAR grant reports to ensure they are formatted correctly and understandable. As editorial reviewer for the STAR program, responsible for coordinating the efforts of the team of STAR program editors and word processors and conducting final quality control reviews of other editors’ work.
As writer/editor for the EPA STAR Progress Review Program, responsible for onsite technical writing/rewriting of meeting summaries, editing, and publications management support for EPA STAR Progress Review Workshops at various EPA laboratories and centers around the United States. Meeting summaries for Progress Review Workshops are published and distributed to the U.S. Congress and made available to general public.
As writer/editor for the EPA Scientific Peer Review Program, responsible for providing writing support for the scientific and institutional review of research centers funded by EPA, including capturing the salient points of all presentations and discussions; providing writing support to the review panel to develop a list of recommendations; preparing the meeting summary, and drafting the report of the review panel.
